Description
Photo shows long-nose version of same boat (any photos of my boat pre-date digital photography)! The boat for sail has twin steel keels. It is currently in long term store ashore awaiting retirement of owner BUT now retired, age and distance from water has prevented the activity! Some deterioration needs TLC that could be rectified easily by someone with good woodworking skills, plywood hulls enjoying a resurgence of popularity due to environmental issues with GRP. This boat has been a wonderful retreat in times past in inshore waters but very suitable for lakes and broads also. Mast, boom, sails, even an outboard, all included.
Extremely stable and good for creek hopping. Sails on a whisper. You sit in it, not on it. Have spent weekends aboard too. Now, reluctantly must accept limitations of life and let someone else have a go. A good project for next season maybe. Lying North Hampshire (now too far from water for owner - a retired mariner). Can discuss about transport and price is negotiable.
