For Sale PX SWAP 1976 Westerly Centaur 26 – "Turnstone" Dinghy and 2.3 outboard INCLUDED. Location: Emsworth, Chichester Harbour (Tidal Berth).

Privately owned since 2023 and being sold due to genuine lack of use.

A fantastic opportunity to own a beautifully example of Britain's most famous classic bilge-keel cruiser.
Beta 16 marine diesel engine fitted new in 2011 (£6,181 invoice included).
Small solar panel keeps batteries topped up automatically.
Icom VHF Radio, DSC Controller, and Raymarine ST40 Bidata instrument with original handbooks. It needs attention.
Standing rigging previously replaced by Aladdin's Cave Rigging (£1,075 invoice present).

I want to describe the boat honestly. Last week I started the engine and left it running for approximately 30 minutes.
The hour meter display is slightly faded/pixelated but appears to show approximately 140 hours.
I normally stay aboard for 1–3 nights a few times per year but unfortunately do not use or sail the boat enough. The last time she was sailed was April 2025.

This is a 1976 classic boat, NOT a brand-new boat.

Due to lack of regular use, I recommend that any serious buyer carries out their own inspection and checks, or arranges an independent survey if they wish.
I am not a marine engineer and cannot guarantee the condition of every system or component.
The buyer is very welcome and encouraged to inspect the boat thoroughly and satisfy themselves regarding its condition before purchase.

The mainsail is old and I believe it should be considered for replacement due to its age. Following a recent drying-out cycle on her berth, the rudder steering arc has become restricted to one side. There is currently NO headsail / jib / genoa, so I am not advertising the boat as ready to sail immediately.

According to the previous owner, the boat was stored ashore and antifouled in 2022.
