Jaguar 21 Drop Keel Yacht

Description

Bought in 2021 to take part in Club round the cans racing which has since collapsed. The boat has been equipped as a day-sailor although berth cushions are available.
The following work was undertaken in 2021:
• Hull painted with Teamac enamel.
• Below the waterline soda blasted and antifouled.
• Drop Keel soda blasted and then epoxy coated.
• Keel rollers renewed.
• New webbing strap fitted to keel winch.
• Stainless standing rigging renewed.
• Genoa furling system rebuilt with new Delrin bearings.
• Much of the running rigging was replaced with dynema cordage.
The boat has a 5hp four-stroke Mariner outboard with a remote tank, mounted in a well in the cockpit. The engine was serviced over the 2025/6 winter.
The boat comes with an old set of sails, which are adequate for cruising. A new set of “racing sails” made by Gabriel Sails in 2021 and very lightly used are not included in the sale but could be available by separate negotiation.
The cabin top and cockpit are “weathered” and ideally require polishing or painting, however this is cosmetic and the boat can be sailed “as is”.
The boat does not have a trailer or cradle, nor is its present mooring transferable.
