Selling my 2015 BMW 1 Series 118i as a spare or repair project. The car starts and drives and has an MOT until July 2027.
The car currently has a Drivetrain warning and requires significant engine work. The known issues are:
- Stretched timing chain
- Worn piston rings
- Engine rebuild required
- Front brake discs and pads required
The car is otherwise in good overall condition for its age and would be suitable for someone looking for a repair project, donor vehicle, or BMW to restore.
I have decided not to invest further money into the vehicle, so I am looking to sell it as it stands. I am open to reasonable offers and will consider the nearest offer for a straightforward sale.
