The M2 Competition was introduced in 2018 as an evolution of the original M2. It received significant mechanical upgrades, including the S55 engine, larger brakes, improved cooling, and stiffer suspension components, all of which transformed the car into a sharper, more focused machine while retaining the everyday usability that made the M2 so popular.

At the heart of the M2 Competition lies the acclaimed 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged S55 straight-six engine, shared with the M3 and M4 of the same era. Producing 404bhp and 550Nm of torque, it delivers ferocious performance through the 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. Power is sent to the rear wheels via an Active M-Differential, ensuring precise traction and balance whether on the road or track. The M2's compact dimensions, near-perfect weight distribution, and tuned chassis make it one of the most rewarding driver's cars of its generation.

First registered in 2019, this example has covered just 21,000 miles and benefits from the desirable Plus Pack and Comfort Pack. The Plus Pack adds the Harman Kardon sound system, privacy glass and Adaptive LED headlights, while the Comfort Pack brings keyless entry, heated electric front seats, heated steering wheel and a rear camera assist making this M2 as refined and practical as it is exciting to drive.

Finished in the striking Hockenheim Silver metallic, a colour introduced exclusively for the Competition variant, this M2 looks every bit as purposeful as its performance suggests. The exterior is complemented by silver alloy wheels and blue brake calipers.

The interior features a focused aesthetic that perfectly captures BMW's motorsport heritage. The black Dakota Leather features a blue contrast stitch and carbon fibre trim can be found on the dashboard, doors and centre console. M-Sport seat belts complete the theme. Additional interior specification includes CarPlay, dual-zone climate control, navigation and cruise control.

With a full and complete service history, having also just had a major service carried out at BMW, this M2 is ready to be enjoyed immediately. The car will be supplied with a 12-month warranty and MOT to August 2026.
