BMW K1 1989

Fine example of a 1989 original UK registered Laguna Blue / Broom Yellow K1.
Purchased by myself in 2021 and only ridden a few miles this year. Bike originally from the Norfolk area, showing 3 previous owners. Some history showing previous service work. Bike had covered 24,789 miles in 2008 doing occasional miles each year till 2017 when it seems it was not used.
What struck me about this example when I saw it in 2021 was it is in stunning condition in comparison to others I had seen. Its not been restored, Its not been kept in a damp shed, I have taken pictures with the tank off and seat off so you can see how clean and moisture free its life has been.
Everything works! ABS fault free, Fuel and Temp guage works, great condition original Tool kit included. One key does all locks.
It passed MOT July 2025 so valid till 07/26 however the reality is the fluids need changing especially the DOT4 brake fluids as they are probably very old. I will try to get around to doing this but lifestyle changes means my bike collection has to go including this beauty.
Price, I have tried to be realistic as I have seen some high prices at dealers, high prices for Japanese imports and also some chronic low on ebay for, (needs work), types- I know as I sold a couple I didn't get time for. All I can say this is a really good example and I have seen a few K1s over the years. These landmark Bikes are rare and so usable still today so gaining a following and apprecating.
