BMW F800GT 2019

Last of the F800GT's.

Perfect runner with zero faults. I bought it as a Cat N from an insurance company last Autumn and spent the winter doing it up, new; exhaust, screen, number-plate, indicator, pegs, bar-end weight. I had every intention of getting back into motorcycling but just can't find any love to start.

Bike has loads of extras; comfort seat, hugger, LED rear light, engine protection and so on. It has electronic suspension and heated grips. A previous owner made the silver wheels black with some funky red in them which matches the red elsewhere. They've been done properly.

As usual with an insurance loss buy there was only one key and no service book. Another key costs £120 but you must take the bike to a BMW dealer to order and then again to program it in which is why I haven't done it.

While the bike isn't cosmetically perfect no plastics are cracked and condition is in my opinion absolutely solid. I only run mechanically excellent vehicles so with not knowing the last service I carried this out over the winter; air filter, oil filter and new oil. I noticed the front DOT was milky and flushed and replaced that as well.

There's also a Bluetooth Canbus adapter & MotorScan apk (Android only) which you can use for tweaking, service resets and diagnosis. Haynes Manual and other bits and bobs. V5 is in my name. MOT until November with no advisories.
