Engine & Performance: The 999cc inline four-cylinder engine, derived from the S 1000 RR superbike, has been refined for 2024 to produce an increased output of 170 hp (125 kW) at 11,000 rpm. It offers strong, linear power delivery, with maximum torque of 84 lb-ft at 9,250 rpm.
TE Specification: The TE model comes fully equipped with both the Dynamic and Touring packages as standard, including:
Dynamic ESA Pro: Electronically adjustable semi-active suspension with automatic load compensation for optimal handling and comfort in all conditions.
Gear Shift Assist Pro: A two-way quickshifter for clutchless up and down shifts.
Cruise Control and Heated Grips for enhanced long-distance comfort.
Luggage Carrier and Pannier Fastenings for easy luggage mounting.
Tyre Pressure Control (TPC), Hand Guards, Centre Stand, and a Preparation for GPS Device.
Ergonomics & Comfort: The seat has been completely redesigned for 2024, offering more usable length and width for greater freedom of movement and improved comfort on long journeys. The riding position remains upright and relaxed, typical of an adventure bike, but with the feel of a sport machine.
Technology & Safety: A 6.5-inch color TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity is standard, allowing for navigation, music, and phone calls via the BMW Motorrad Connected app. Standard safety and tech features also include Headlight Pro with adaptive cornering lights, Keyless Ride, a USB charging port, Riding Modes Pro (Rain, Road, Dynamic, Dynamic Pro), cornering ABS Pro, and Dynamic Traction Control (DTC).
Design: The 2024 model features updated styling elements, including a body-colored front "beak and quot;, redesigned rear section side panels with motorsport-inspired air intakes, and a new texture on the radiator trim.
