1994 BMW K1

Description

This is the unmistakable BMW K1, finished in the iconic metallic black and silver scheme with contrasting wheels, frame and graphics.

The K1 was BMW showing the world that it could build something genuinely futuristic. Its dramatic aerodynamic bodywork, enclosed front wheel and enormous K1 graphics made it unlike anything else on the road when it was launched. More than three decades later, it still has real presence.

Powered by BMW’s 987cc, 16 valve, four cylinder engine, the K1 combines strong performance with a five speed gearbox and BMW’s dependable shaft drive. This example is also equipped with ABS.

With 23,738 miles recorded, it presents extremely well for its age.

These motorcycles are becoming increasingly difficult to find, especially in this condition and with sensible mileage. It would make a striking addition to a collection while remaining a motorcycle that can still be enjoyed on the road.

A rare opportunity to own one of BMW’s boldest and most memorable motorcycles. Available now at Franks. Contact us to arrange a viewing or to request further photographs, a walkaround video and full details.
