Crank Cap Tensioning Bolt Installation Tool for Shimano TL-FC16 Hollowtech 2 II
This is the New design Crank Tensioning Bolt Tool. The New Hollowtech Crank tool is a slightly smaller design with a smaller diameter than the older crank tools (was 40mm D - now 35 mm D), but the new Crank tools now come in a wider grip depth (6 mm), which I find a lot easier when using by hand. (This tool is designed to be used by hand.)

- 100% brand new and high quality
- Fits the end cap on Hollowtech II cranks
- Used to 'preload by hand' the bearing tension on Shimano Hollowtech II (outboard bearing) cranks
- Can be used with a 6 mm Allen Key Wrench (DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN - Over-tightening CAN damage the tool & Bearings!)
- Size: 35 mm x 35 mm diameter with a 6 mm depth - tool insert is 15 mm diameter - See Pics for details
- Be sure to loosen the crank pinch bolts first before installing or removing the preload bolt!
