Vintage Raleigh Superbe (Late 1970s) – Classic British Bike For Sale.
Selling my Raleigh Superbe, a vintage British-built bicycle from the late ’70s. It’s a real classic with plenty of character and charm, and it still rides well.
Features:
3-speed Sturmey Archer hub gears
Original dynamo front light (currently not working)
Rear rack and mudguards
Comfortable upright riding position
Original paint and decals with vintage patina
Dark green in colour.
Condition:
The bike is in good condition for its age — it’s fully rideable and very comfortable.
That said, it could use a little TLC: the brakes aren’t as sharp as modern ones, the front light isn’t working (likely just needs a new bulb as the rear light works fine), and the paint is faded in places.
This would be ideal for someone who appreciates classic British bikes and wants something unique to ride around town — or a rewarding restoration project.
