Description

*Please read advert in full. This is an honest advert where I believe I covered all points, both positive and negative*

Thankyou for viewing the advert for my Boardman MX Hybrid Comp 3XB bicycle.

This bicycle has been used as Boardman intended and as such, there is evidence of it having been used, such as slight scuffs, etc. However, this is in largely very good condition.

More importantly, the drivetrain works well, although it has been used and there'd always be scope for a gear service, although not yet!

The brakes work well and the inner tubes seem to hold air as required.

I did perform some maintenance on the front wheel due to a slight wheel wobble at the hub. I've disassembled, greased and reassembled the gubbins in the front wheel and this seems to now be working without wobble. Needless to say, this is something to keep an eye on.

Due to a perishing of the handlebar grips, I've fashioned a quick fix which means that the current rubber grips are loose. However, I am awaiting the arrival of a new pair which will either be fitted at the time of purchase of the bike or I can send them on to you.

The cap of the Suntour front forks is missing, unfortunately. However, the front forks not work very well with good, uninterrupted travel, but are in very good condition - a rare advert of a bike without rusted forks!

There's an additional bottle holder and a retro/cool Crud Catcher mudguard on the rear - no-one likes damp, muddy streak up their back.

As is with the case with Boardman bicycles (I have owned a couple previous to this), there is no specified frame size. I have however added a photo of the measurements to reflect the C-C and C-T sizes. It is either a small or a medium. I'm 5'8" and I find it very comfortable but it has adjustable seat and handlebars riser.

Collection of this Boardman is from Fareham, Hampshire in between Portsmouth and Southampton. I may be able to deliver within a radius of Fareham, Gosport, Portsmouth and the east side of Southampton, but nothing more than that, I'm afraid. I cannot send via courier I'm afraid.
