Description
As seen, one rear-mounting cycle carrier which holds up to 3 bicycles.
It is adjustable to fit hatchbacks and estate cars. We have used it on a small hatchback and it is seen here on a Citroen Berlingo. In spite of the size of the back door, there is plenty of adjustment left in the straps. (If your vehicle is so big that the straps are too short then you would be better carrying the bikes inside it.)
Bicycles are lifted over the carrying bars. Frames then rest in the oval, adjustable blocks and strapped to them. These blocks have a channel to rest the frame into. They rotate as required and will fit pretty well any type of frame. One in place, I always secured the with elastics to stop the front wheel and handlebars swinging around.
The whole device folds reasonably flat for storage – I have always hung it on hooks on the garage wall.
