Description
A Lloyd Loom rattan and wood side table in excellent vintage condition. It has a glass top with hinged lid and chain which opens up to a large storage compartment. The frame is made of solid wood with four wooden feet, all of which is in excellent condition. There are a couple of small marks on the rattan but you really have to look closely to spot them.
Since the 1920s Lloyd Loom have produced elegant pieces of furniture with its main focus being on practical storage solutions, and this item is just that. Elegant with plenty of storage, it would probably have been build with laundry/washing baskets in mind.
Crafted in an age when things were build to last, this piece is still as strong and sturdy as the day it was made. Its versatile design means that it suits both traditional and modern styles and would certainly be a great addition to any room.
