Beautiful Antique 1800's Essex & Cammeyer 5 String Banjo Grade A 1450
Used, in excellent working condition, Beautiful Antique Essex & Cammeyer Banjo Grade A 1450. Fabulous 5 string banjo by reputable company, it is old and a rare, collectable piece, a prominent British banjo partnership formed in 1893 by Clifford Essex and Alfred Cammeyer, specializing in high-quality zither banjos and banjolas, which dissolved in 1900 so this Banjo is at least 126 years old!!!! Plays as is and sounds good with the one string that is remaining, so it needs strings. Also it still has the original calf skin head on the body of the banjo, which has a split so could do with being replaced even though it still produces good sound. Otherwise condition is great as you can see from the photo's!! Fantastic opportunity to pick up one of these fantastic banjo's needing just minimal work to make gig worthy! Please see photo's.
