Position: Temporary Live In Nanny

Location: Northstowe, Cambridgeshire

Dates covered / Hours: ⁠mid to end November, 5 days a week, full time hours

Children: 4 years old twins

A lovely family based in Northstowe are seeking an experienced temporary live in nanny to care for their delightful 4-year-old twins during a short-term placement from mid to the end of November. This is a fantastic opportunity for a warm, energetic and organised nanny who enjoys working with young children and can provide a structured, nurturing and engaging environment throughout the placement.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience caring for twins or multiple children of a similar age, be confident managing daily routines independently and be proactive in planning fun and educational activities. The family are looking for someone who is reliable, caring and able to become a positive part of the household during the placement. Previous experience in a similar private household role and excellent references are essential.

Duties include:

providing full-time care for the twins
planning stimulating indoor and outdoor activities
supporting the children’s daily routines and encouraging independence
preparing healthy meals and nutritious snacks
helping with dressing, personal care and hygiene routines
supporting learning through creative and educational play
taking the children on local outings and activities when appropriate
keeping the children’s bedrooms and play areas tidy and organised
washing, ironing and organising the children’s clothing
preparing bags and organising everything needed for daily activities
monitoring the children’s wellbeing and development
communicating regularly with the parents regarding the children’s progress
maintaining a safe, happy and nurturing environment at all times
