Days/Hours: Tuesday to Saturday 7am-9am and again from 2pm-8pm / 3pm-9pm

A lovely family in Ealing, London, is looking for an experienced and reliable live-in or live-out housekeeper / nanny to help manage their household. The main focus of the role will be housekeeping and some cooking, ensuring the home is kept clean, tidy and well organised throughout the week.

The family has two young children, aged 3.5 years and 1 year, who attend nursery. The successful candidate will mainly be responsible for household duties, with some childcare support required around the children’s routines. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised and comfortable working around pets.

Duties include:

cleaning and maintaining all areas of the home
dusting and polishing furniture and household surfaces
vacuuming carpets and mopping hard floors
cleaning bathrooms and keeping them hygienic
cleaning kitchen surfaces, appliances and cupboards
making beds and changing bed linen
managing laundry, ironing and putting clothes away
keeping wardrobes and cupboards organised
tidying bedrooms, living areas and children’s play areas
preparing fresh, home-cooked meals for the family
assisting with meal planning and basic food preparation
keeping the kitchen clean and tidy after cooking
washing up and putting away kitchen items
monitoring household supplies and replenishing items when needed
helping maintain a clean, comfortable and well-organised home
providing childcare support before and after nursery when required
helping with the children’s daily routines and keeping their areas tidy
being comfortable around pets
