1984 Classic Mini – “Britax Cooper” Tribute – Project / Banger / Film Prop 🚗💥
Reluctantly offering up my 1984 classic Mini Britax Cooper tribute. It’s not concours, it’s not precious… but it is full of character and potential.
The good bits (because there are some):
• ✅ Tax, MOT & ULEZ exempt – London friendly without selling a kidney
• 🔑 Engine starts on the key (yes, really)
• 🛞 4x brand new Yokohama tyres – probably worth more than some of the car
• 🇬🇧 Proper classic Mini vibes
• Perfect base for a project, banger racer, retro track toy, or film/prop car
The honest bits (this is eBay after all):
• ❌ Hole in the rear floor pan – you can see the road… very immersive driving experience
• It’s a project: bring tools, enthusiasm, and possibly a welder
• Paint and body are “patina” (that’s eBay code for not perfect)
This Mini could be:
• Your next DIY restoration
• A banger racer waiting to live its best chaotic life
• A movie/TV prop (looks great from 10 feet away… or on camera)
• Or just a cool old Mini to tinker with and enjoy
Starts, rolls, steers, and makes all the right old-car noises.
