Foamboard. White. 60 x 40 inches (1.5m x 1m). 5mm thick. Quantity: 10 sheets. Incredible bargain at £20. Perfect for artists or crafters. Or if you run an art department at a school, then this is ideal for you, too.
I have 10, very large sheets, of the highest quality foamboard. I think the sheets are as large as you can go. These sheets of foamboard are massive. They were purchased only one week ago. A brand new box of 10 sheets this size would cost £180.
So, 5 sheets are in absolutely perfect condition.
But, 5 sheets of the 10 are slightly damaged.
They are damaged in the same place on each sheet on one edge, and have a slightly dented corner (thank you, FedEx, for not understanding the word 'fragile', hence me having to order a second box of 5 sheets). You can see the damage in the photos. However, if you trim the damaged edge off, you will still be able to use the sheets, as the rest of the sheet is still perfect. Also, one of the damaged sheets has small impressions on one face due to Blu-Tak being used to stick some photos to it. All of this is in the photos.
But 5 sheets are absolutely perfect and in pristine condition.
Included are two large slim cardboard boxes used to transport the foamboard to me.
The cost for all 10 sheets is £20. No offers. The buyer needs to collect, as I don't want to risk sending these through the post. The two boxes containing the foamboard will likely fit in a car, but will need to be handled carefully during transport.
The supplier of the foamoard writes:
A foam centre art board that is used as a lightweight support panel for graphics, architectural and exhibition work. Widely used also as a simple self-supporting surface for signage and water-based paintings. Oil-based and acrylic paints can also be applied. Very rigid and stable with an ultra fine polystyrene core. The surface is a printing-quality smooth-coated white kraft paper. Can be cut by die or blade to give a clear, sharp edge of board-like quality. Probably the most widely used display board in use today. Foam-centred boards perform well with dry mounting equipment.
10 sheets of foamboard at this size and thickness is a bargain for £20.
