Elara Photography is a Hampshire-based photography business all about fun, natural photos that actually feel like you.

I photograph families, children, events, maternity, newborns, headshots, branding and more, with a big focus on relaxed outdoor mini sessions throughout the year. My sessions are never about standing stiffly and saying “cheese”. I want the real smiles, the chaos, the little expressions and all the bits that actually show someone’s personality.

I know being in front of a camera can feel awkward, especially for children who do not want to sit still, nervous adults or anyone who just does not feel “photogenic”, so I keep things really relaxed. I will guide you when you need it, give you plenty to do so you are not wondering where to put your hands, and make the whole thing feel much more like spending time together than having a photoshoot.

For events and businesses, the same approach applies. I am looking for the atmosphere, the people, the details and the moments you would actually want to remember or show off afterwards, rather than just ticking off a standard shot list.

Most of my shoots take place outdoors or on location across Hampshire, although I also photograph in clients’ homes, venues and business spaces depending on what we are creating.
