SPL Communications is a full-service marketing services, content creation and video production company specialising in business-to-business communications for large and small organizations. Please be aware that we are VAT-registered.

SPL is headed up by Ian Sandall - a highly rated Film & TV pro with many years of experience in broadcast, commercials, and training videos. Ian also has a background in branding and marketing, concentrating on strategy and writing.

SPL has many years of experience working for all sizes of companies in the UK and abroad. We specialise in tech, automotive, engineering, architecture and home adornment products and have many years of experience in those fields.

You'll get top-class pros working on your job at a competitive price - people with years of high-end experience that few other companies in the area can offer. We know we'll do a great job for you!
You can also call on us for editing or re-editing your existing videos and we specialise in cleaning up UGC (user-generated content.)

Please contact us to discuss work you need pricing. As a very rough guide our inclusive video production prices start from:

1. Simple requirements: 1 day simple filming / 2 days editing. Deliverables: 1 or 2 short films: From £1,750.00 (Or filming/editing at £75.00 per hour.)
2. More complex requirements: 2 days filming / up to 4 days editing. Deliverables: 2-5 short films: From £3,000.00
3. Multi camera / multi day shoots: From £4,500.00

We are fully insured and carry a £100K producers indemnity. Voiceovers, animation, music production, scripting, casting, presenters and other services also available.

If you are after someone who is flexible, dedicated, understands your vision and someone who doesn't stop until the final result is perfect then SPL Communications should be your go to! I've lost count of the amount of hours i've spent working with Ian across 2022, he became a part of a team for us.

It’s been an absolutely pleasure working with Ian Sandall from SPL Communications on my project, which was to create a series of long and short format videos showcasing the disability charity that I work for in Stockport. Ian immediately understood our brief due to having extensive experience of video production and also having worked with similar organisations. This was the first time the charity had commissioned anyone to undertake such as project and Ian was able to instil confidence that he was able to deliver what was required from the outset. Although we knew what we were trying to achieve, Ian was instrumental in shaping the outcomes and the process we needed to go through in internally to deliver this. Ian was very personable and easy to work with both from my perspective as the project manager but also for the members of staff who had to get up in front of the camera, which was very much out of their comfort zone. Everyone throughout the organisation was delighted with the final versions of all the videos produced and we’re already seeing the benefits of using these within our recruitment marketing activity. I’m would absolutely recommend SPL Communications to anyone considering them for their video production work.

This is the first video RoC has produced and SPL Communications (Ian Sandall) was chosen based on their experience in the architecture and construction sector. Ian has been an absolute true professional and has guided us gently but firmly down the road to creating the most engaging company video. The video showcases our team and the projects we are working on and we are receiving excellent feedback from our clients. We all enjoyed working with Ian Sandall, SPL Communications. He understood exactly what we needed from the first phone call and we are really delighted with the professional video he has produced for us.
