Job Title: Trainee Embroidery Machinist

Location: Hastings

Pay Rate: £13 per hour (£17 per hour on Sundays)

Job Type: Full-time | Temp to Perm

Shift Patterns Available:

Monday to Friday: 6:00am - 2:30pmOR

Monday to Thursday: 14:15 - 22:45

Sunday: 14:15 - 22:45HRGO Recruitment are working with a well-established clothing and equipment manufacturing company who are looking to recruit a Junior Embroidery Machine Operator to join their embroidery department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a creative background who is looking to start or develop a career within the fashion or textile industry.

Full training will be provided, making this role ideal for candidates with a fashion, textile, art, or design qualification, or those with experience using domestic or industrial sewing machines.

Key Responsibilities:

Learning to operate embroidery machines to produce high-quality embroidered products

Assisting with setting up machines using embroidery designs and specifications

Monitoring machines during production and reporting any issues

Selecting correct thread colours and ensuring accurate design placement

Inspecting finished products to ensure quality standards are met

Supporting routine machine maintenance and general upkeep

Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment

Working closely with the production team to meet deadlinesSkills & Experience:

A creative background (fashion, textiles, art, design or similar)

OR experience using sewing machines (domestic or industrial)

Strong attention to detail and an interest in quality craftsmanship

Willingness to learn new skills and techniques

Good communication skills and a positive team-working xjnqpsq attitude

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentBenefits:
