Vintage slate clock in Empire style with brass coloured colonnade
Size (approx.): 39cm tall x 40cm wide x 14cm deep
Condition: Needs a good clean and polish. The hinge securing the face cover is very loose. It like it needs re-soldering. Edges of the slate are a bit rough in places.
No pendulum or key, so not tested. I have moved the hands round to the 6 and the 12. It did strike but not the right number of times. The striker lacks power and the resulting sound isn't very loud.. Therefore, selling for spares and repair - for a clock expert to service and repair, if required.
This clock is incredibly heavy and therefore it is for personal collection only. No postage, no courier collection or packing services.
