Description
Magnificent late-19th-century Victorian pier mirror and console table, dating from around 1880. Crafted from solid walnut with a deep, warm patina, it features superb hand-carved details including floral motifs, foliate scrolls, and turned columns.
The tall mirror retains excellent clarity for its age and is topped with an ornate carved crest. The original white marble top is smooth and clean, resting above a richly carved frieze. The console stands on sturdy turned legs joined by a shaped stretcher, combining elegance with stability.
A rare and impressive statement piece, perfect for a grand hallway, reception space, or period property.
