Description
A Victorian Royal mounted 10 point stag's head on a wooden shield. Label on the reverse reads:
"Stewart McIntosh Braemar Taxidermist to the Queen & Royal Houshold"
Dimensions
Base to tip of nose = 50cm
Length of antlers = 84cm
Width of antlers at tips = 60cm
Tip of nose to back of head = 35cm
It has been in the family since being purchased at auction in 1928.
It has wonderful antlers, however it is coming undone at the seams, hence the price. However, it should hopefully be easily fixed?
