Description
This is a stunning hanging wall clock on a rope made by Kienzle, Germany circa 1950’s.
A fantastic vintage design, with the round face mounted on wood and brass rimmed with the roman numerals and sleek half rounded form. Lovely decorative hands and brass clasps holding the rope.
Incorporates elements of the Bauhaus / Modernist design movements in Germany at the time.
Would make a great stylish practical addition to any retro, vintage, art deco, modernist, mid century or contemporary styled interior. Perfect for an office, hallway or living room.
Mechanical movement in full working order, all original. Two-tone chime.
In excellent condition, some tarnishing to the brass, the wood is in great condition, nice golden patina with a few marks, nothing to detract.
Comes with original Kienzle key.
The clock measures 22 x 22 x 6cm. Its length when hanging is 40cm.
