Description
A good original Art Nouveau Tudric for Liberty & Co pewter lidded coffee pot with embossed floral designs by Archibald Knox (1864-1933) and dating from around 1905. This stylish bell shaped body coffee pot has a raised pouring spout and ebony wood handle and with a domed fitted lift cover. The coffee pot has a scrolling stylised floral design repeated to both sides and has a wonderful rich grey patina with a contrasting finish to the lower body.
The pot is marked at the base with 'R9448915 TUDRIC 0375' impressed marks, 15cm height. Not many of these around, is in good clean condition, lid fits perfectly. Also selling on other platforms.
