Description
Pre-WW1 Imperial German Prussian State Railway carriage steel plaque in very good condition, please see pictures. Once belonging to my grandfather who was in the army. K.P.E.V. stands for Königlich Preußischer Eisenbahn Verkehrsbetrieb. Features Prussian heraldic eagle to centre with FR at its chest. Four drill holes at the corners for attaching to the exterior of the passenger carriage. I've read that this is the rarer version of the plaque.
A wonderful special item for a railway memorabilia or militaria collector. No offers pls.
