Pair of Inert 30mm ADEN Aircraft Cannon Shell Cases on Wooden Display Stands – RAF Militaria
Ballymena, County Antrim
1 / 6
Description
Pair of 30mm ADEN aircraft cannon shell cases, mounted individually on wooden display plinths and being sold together as a pair.
Each brass case sits in a purpose-made wooden stand with a printed diagram identifying the ADEN 30mm Aircraft Cannon.
The ADEN was a British 30mm aircraft cannon used on a number of post-war military aircraft, making these great display pieces for anyone interested in RAF, aviation or military history.
Both shell cases are completely empty and are being sold purely as inert decorative/collectable items.
They have age-related marks and patina to the brass, while the wooden bases also show some character and wear, as can be seen in the photographs.
They would look particularly good:
* as military-themed bookends
* on a desk or bookshelf
* in a man cave / home bar
* in an aviation or militaria collection
* as unusual decorative pieces for an office or study
Both stands and shell cases included – selling only as a pair.
