large german wall clock converted to quartz non chime movement

a gorgeous very large antique victorian german wall clock which has had the old worn out clockwork movement replaced with a brand new quartz battery non chiming movement with a brass working pendulum, it looks like it did when made in the late 1800s, but now never needs winding, keeps perfect time and no chimes to annoy you, it is 48 inches tall x 16 inches wide x 8 and 1/2 inches deep, the eagle topper is a resin exact replica of the original eagle topper , these were all removed from these type of clocks at the onset of the first world war , and either left off the clock or replaced by a prancing horse, so l fitted this exact copy to get the clock looking as it did when made in the late 1800s, it comes working perfectly and with new batteries , listed as buyer collect ,however l will deliver it or meet you in the nottingham area for a £5 fuel cost, look ggreat in any room or used as a film prop for victorian room scenes, price is o.n.o.
