Description
Old centrepiece/fuit bowl/tazza ceramic made and standing on three brass legs depicting fish.
Interior of the bowl is imprinted with a scene from "Journey of the Magi" frescoed by Benozzo Gozzoli in the 15th century in the Palazzo Medici Riccardi, Florence, in Renaissance style. Some relief ornaments around the print and a golden rim, the golden rim faded here and there. Similar small scenes all around on the outside of the bowl.
The bowl stands on three brass legs in the shape of mythical dragon fish.
It's a quite large item having 32 cm in diameter and about 22 cm height.
A lovely item in really good condition, no chips or cracks or repairs. No maker's marks/stamps, and I am not able to date it.
