Brief Description:
This is a beautiful, genuine early 19th-century Dutch or French Delft/Faience Blue and White Chinoiserie Tea Canister.
Of a rectangular form, with a wonderful aged patina, the piece has canted corners with a matching Delft cover.
It is embellished with wonderful hand-painted flowers, fruit and an exotic bird on either side.
Circa 1820-1830
Signed/marked to the base.
