Brucciani's Plaster Cast, Michaelangelo's David. British Museum Original

A marbleised-plaster cast of Michelangelo's David, taken from the original ~1860s mould created by Domenico Brucciani.

Made and sold during the late 1970s and early 1980s at the British Museum in London, this is one of four pieces (ear, eye, nose mouth) that make the full collection.

Collection only in Horsforth - it's a fragile item that I don't trust going through a post office. It weights about 3kg, as an estimate.

There's a very small nick on one side, photos included so there's no misunderstanding. Priced to reflect this. Reasonable offers will be considered.

Note this is the original casting, and is life-size to the real David statue in Florence, Italy. This item is not one of the slightly larger castings made in later years for artists sketching.
