Description
Antique match striker advertising "Stenhouse Scotch Whiskies".
This is a ceramic advertising piece, likely from the late 19th or early 20th century.
The surface has a crackle glaze finish and features hand-painted/ transfer text and illustrations of whisky bottles.
Stenhouse was a known name in the Scotch whisky trade during that era.
A rare piece of Breweriana in excellent condition for its age, no cracks or damage just crazing to the glaze & some areas of discolouration ( see pics).
Measures approx 4” across, 2” high.
