Description
This Staffordshire English pottery mug/stein by Gibson's is a stunning piece of vintage art. Its glossy finish and gold trim give it an elegant look that is perfect for all occasions. The round shape of the mug is decorated with a beautiful pattern of the English Huntsman, making it a perfect addition to a collection of decorative cookware and tableware.
The mug is made of porcelain and ceramic and has a height of 9.5cm, aprox. 8.5cm diameter on the bottom & 7cm at the top. It features a Gold coloured handle that makes it easy to hold and is perfect for warm drinks. The Hunt scene is perfect for those who love outdoor activities. The mug is an original piece of art pottery from 1950-1959, with a printed Stamp that adds to it's authenticity. This mug is a must-have for any antique collector or vintage lover.
I believe this model of Mug is an earlier design as it has a Brown interior & Brown on the inner handle.
This Mug is in Pristine condition. It hasn't been used at all - just been used for display purposes.
