Description
JVC JR-S300 MK1 tuner/amp (receiver).
Recently overhauled, refurbished, fully serviced and in excellent working order. Having said that, it is nearly fifty years old and continued operation, without further attention, cannot be guaranteed.
A high quality sound output with a built in graphics equaliser and several input sources including phono, tape and auxiliary along with FM (no aerial) and AM (built in) radio. Facility for two sets of loud speakers. This impressive looking unit packs more than enough power for any home (50 watts per channel).
Note that the phono input includes a built in pre-amp making it suitable for a turntable which requires the input boosted to a useable level.
Note also that scale indications on the volume and balance controls have faded in places. This does not effect the operation of the unit and someone with a steady hand, a fine point paint brush and white metal paint could easily correct this (if this bothers them).
