Description
Aixam A751 microcar with a 505cc Petrol Engine. This has been in storage for over 5 years and had a just expired MOT when stopped use. It has been started occasionally and moved small distances over that time. The last time it was started was July 2025 though the petrol has now run out. The following problems have been found:
# The brakes have lost hydraulic pressure = Not working.
# The automatic choke keeps the revs high even when warm until the engine is stopped and
restarted, then it seems to idle and rev normally.
# The front offside tyre has a slow puncture.
# Small crack in bodywork and some peeling of paint.
# Subframe starting to rust.
The front and reverse gears engage and the car was moved a few feet backwards and forwards at last startup.
Some of the electrics are untidy and would benefit from some attention.
I have the V5C document and copies of MOT's from Dec 2017 - Dec 2019, also some receipts for work done in that time.
The car will need to be taken away on a trailer or suitable recovery transport.
