Weekend Cleansing Operative

Locations: Northampton, NN4 9RR

Hourly Rate: £12.71

Contract type: FTC - 6 Months

Working hours: 07: 30 - 15:30 Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays (7.5 hours per day)

About the role

Do you take pride in your community and enjoy working outdoors? We're looking for a cleansing operative to help keep Northampton clean and tidy. As a visible and valued member of the team, you'll be responsible for emptying bins, collecting litter, moving waste to designated collection points, and ensuring public areas remain welcoming for everyone.

Requirements

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively throughout the day

Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards

Physically fit and able to carry out outdoor manual duties in all weather conditions

Ability to interact politely with members of the public and represent the town positively

Basic problem-solving skills and ability to use initiative

Full UK Driving Licence Required
