Monday – Thursday: 07:00 – 15:30

Friday: 07:00 – 13:00

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Ground Maintenance Operative to join our team based at our yard in Stroud (GL6 8PE). The role involves carrying out grounds maintenance work across water utility sites throughout Wiltshire, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.

You will start and finish each day at our Stroud yard and travel to sites with the team.

Key Responsibilities

Grass cutting and vegetation management

*

Spraying and controlling weeds

*

Operating commercial mowing and landscaping equipment

*

Maintaining safe and tidy work areas on utility sites

*

Working as part of a small team across multiple locations

Requirements

*

Experience using commercial mowing or grounds maintenance equipment

*

A good work ethic and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

*

Ability to work as part of a team and follow safety procedures

Desirable (not essential)

*

CSCS Card

*

NPTC or Lantra certification

*

Pesticide spraying licence

*

Experience with chainsaws, hedge cutters, mowers and strimmers

Additional Information

All staff must xjnqpsq attend an induction before starting

*

A drug and alcohol test will be carried out at induction and we operate a zero-tolerance policy
