T&K Associates are currently recruiting on behalf of our Client in Coalville for a Production Manager to join their team on a Permanent basis.

Production Manager Job Details & Benefits;

* £38 000.00 circa depending on experience

* Monday to Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm & Friday 7:30am-1pm

Production Manager Job Duties;

* To be the business lead on all matters concerning the production

* To manage the Departments Training Plans and to ensure all employees are multi skilled across the various Production activities, maintaining Competency Matrix, Individual training plans and Appraisals

* To actively lead the Production Team Leaders by means of coaching, mentoring and guidance

* To regularly liaise with other managers ensuring Production Schedules are delivered to the Production Lines to carry out the appropriate builds

* Maintain positive working relations with key stakeholders within the business

* Estimate costs and prepare budgets in line with Operational objectives

* Ensure production is carried out within the timeframes set to meet loading deadlines and ultimately the successful dispatch to the customers

* To ensure product quality is maintained in line with the businesses Quality Management systems

* In conjunction with the Production Team Leaders ensure adequate resources (workforce, raw materials etc.) are in place to meet daily targets

* To liaise with Stock control to ensure stock levels are sufficient to achieve build program

* Oversee regular stock checks, identifying potential shortfalls

* Support the implementation of engineering changes, production trials, model change and pilot builds

* To manage the Production teams time, attendance and bonus scheme

* To accurately collate the Departments statistical data for analysis and review

* Daily, weekly, monthly reporting of departments KPI’s, providing regular reports for performance, safety and training outcomes to senior management

* In conjunction with the other operations managers, oversee the cleanliness of the yard

* To Manage all Human Resource and Employee relations requirements of the Production department

Production Manager Person Specification;

* Previous management experience is essential

* Previous Experience in Managing a large team

* To be able to demonstrate coaching, mentoring and employee relations skills

* Proficient in MS Office and ERP software. (SAP)

* Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations

* Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts

* Experience in reporting on key production metrics
