PQ Management Accountant

Part Qualified Management Accountant | Harrogate | Manufacturing | £35,000 to £40,000

We are looking for a part oqualified Management Accountant to join a growing finance team. This is a hands-on role where you will assist with the preparation of management accounts, factory reporting, variance analysis, and play a key part in budgeting and forecasting.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Manage invoice factoring facility

Conduct variance analysis & investigate discrepancies

Process weekly and monthly payroll

Deliver daily, weekly & monthly management reporting

Perform balance sheet reconciliations & prepare supporting schedules

Maintain and update fixed asset register

Assist with the preparation of the monthly management accounts

Produce KPI reporting and cash flow forecasting

Assist with budgeting & forecasting processes

Ensure compliance with internal controls & company policies

Provide cover for Accounts Assistant duties when required (Sales Ledger, AP, Credit Control)

Assist with ad hoc finance tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For

CIMA / ACCA Part Qualified or AAT Qualified

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment (highly desirable)

Strong track record of working to tight and recurring deadlines

Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formula-driven reports)

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills

Proven leadership and team management ability

Ability to work independently with a proactive, confidential approach
