Description

Mobile Facilities Supervisor - FM Service Provider - Southampton- £13.49 per hour

Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM Service Provider located in Southampton. CBW are currently recruiting a Facilities Supervisor to develop their career in FM based in Southampton. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in cleaning within a commercial environment.

Details/Hours of work:

Monday to Friday

08:00am to 17:00pm

Contract type: temp to perm

Company van plus a fuel card

Key duties & Responsibilities:

Ensure excellent cleaning standards across all sites within remit

Conduct regular site visits and cleaning audits, completing required paperwork

Manage site operatives, including records of attendance, absence, holidays, and training (Human Focus)

Submit employee timesheets, leaver notifications, and contract changes in line with payroll deadlines

Support HR meetings in line with company policies (with HR and Regional Facilities Manager support)

Supervise operatives to ensure compliance with site rules, uniform, and PPE requirements

Raise vacancy requests and assist with recruitment, induction, and training

Ensure compliance with legislation (e.g., Right to Work, new starter documentation)

Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings to promote Health & Safety best practices

Maintain positive working relationships with clients and employees

Deliver services within allocated budget

Monitor stock levels and place monthly orders

Provide or arrange cover for sickness and holiday absences

Attend departmental meetings as required

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 xjnqpsq years’ experience in a similar role

Previous experience of supervising operations in a demanding environment

Customer service focused

Excellent communication skills both verbally and written

Excellent interpersonal skills

Knowledge and application of relevant standards and legislation such as COSHH

Assessments, hygiene standards and health and safety management

Good command of English language, both written and oral

Full clean UK driving license is required.
