The Opportunity

Are you a process-driven Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) professional with a passion for high-standard compliance?

We are a leading transport operator looking for a meticulous HSE Systems Management Specialist to join our dedicated safety team.

In this pivotal role, you won’t just be checking boxes. You will be the guardian of our Integrated Management System (IMS), ensuring our operational safety frameworks are robust, scalable, and fully aligned with ISO standards. This is a chance to influence the safety culture of a business that moves millions of people across the capital every year.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee the development and continuous improvement of the HSE Management System in line with ISO 45001 standards.

* Lead internal audit programs and act as the primary point of contact for external UKAS-accredited certification bodies.

* Manage HSE software and reporting tools to identify trends, track KPIs, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.

* Ensure all HSE policies, procedures, and risk assessments are up-to-date, legally compliant, and accessible to the wider business.

* Assist operational managers in interpreting complex HSE legislation and translating it into practical, on-the-ground workflows. xjnqpsq

What You’ll Need

* NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent

* ISO 45001 Lead or Internal Auditor Qualification

* Proven track record in building HSE systems within a complex, high-risk environment (Transport, Logistics, Construction, or Manufacturing).
