The RoleAs the group continues to expand, we are looking to appoint a Senior Management Accountant to take ownership of day-to-day finance operations across multiple entities.

This role will be central to producing management accounts, strengthening financial processes, and providing commercial insight to support decision-making at group level.

This position would suit a hands-on accountant who enjoys working within a growing SME, where systems and processes are evolving, and where you can genuinely influence how the finance function develops.

Key ResponsibilitiesPreparation of monthly management accounts for multiple group entitiesProduction of consolidated group management accounts and reporting packsCashflow forecasting and financial reporting across the groupSupporting budgeting and forecasting processesManaging, supporting, and mentoring a small finance teamReviewing transactional finance activity including purchase and sales ledgerCompleting balance sheet reconciliations across all entitiesSupporting systems implementations and finance process improvementsAssisting with year-end processes and liaising with external accountantsSupporting new entity set-ups and group reporting requirementsImproving financial controls, processes, and reporting standardsProviding financial insight and support to senior stakeholdersWhat We're Looking ForQualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or exceptional Qualified by ExperienceProven management accounting experience within a multi-entity or group environmentExperience managing or supervising finance staffBackground in SME or growing businessesStrong Excel and financial reporting capabilityExperience using Xero and Fathom (or similar systems)Comfortable working in a changing environment and improving processesWell-organised, proactive, and able to manage competing deadlinesStrong communication skills with non-finance stakeholders
