Description

My client is a boutique advice practice based five miles south east of Norwich.

My client is currently looking for an experienced financial services administrator, you will ideally be already working at a senior level or ready to work at this level overseeing others, acting as a go to for queries and assistance as well as helping to manage their workflow.

You will join my clients already experienced team of administrators supporting the businesses team of advisers.

Key duties

Assisting colleagues at a senior level, supporting them with any queries they might have to ensure the administration process is carried out in a methodical and efficient manner

Liaising with Advisers and Paraplanners to ensure work is prioritised and deadlines met

Helping colleagues to manage their workload ensuring they are efficient and supported in their daily work

Liaising with advisers and colleagues in all aspects of the business process

Preparation and monitoring of personal development plans

Annual staff appraisals and associated HR roles within the business in liaison with the Directors

Speaking with insurance companies and investment companies to obtain specific information

Occasional preparation of investment reports and review packs for existing clients

Preparation of new business packs for prospective clients of the firm

Use of back office system to construct data records and obtain information for existing clients

Assisting the advisers to ensure business is processed efficiently and accurately

Complying with FCA rules and internal compliance procedures

Key personal skills required for this role are:

• Honesty

• Integrity

• Reliability

• Ability to work well under pressure

• Good knowledge and experience of using Microsoft office and Excel

• Mathematics and English qualifications (grade C and above)

• A good telephone manner

• Experience within financial services, ideally within an insurance company or financial advisory business
