Senior Finance Business Partner Permanent Wirral Hybrid Competitive salary

We are excited to be working with a large charity based in the Wirral that is looking to recruit to a newly created role of Senior Finance Business Partner. The role will join a talented finance team and provide strategic financial leadership for the charity s income division ensuring that all income generating activities are financially sustainable, well managed and aligned with the organisational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify opportunities to maximise income across all funding streams, including commissioned services, grants, contracts, and traded activities. Evaluate and optimise pricing models and fee structures to ensure financial viability and competitiveness. Provide strategic insight to senior leadership on emerging income opportunities, market trends, and commercial risks. Act as finance partner for operational leaders across the income division, providing high quality financial insight, challenge, and support. Support operational teams in understanding financial drivers, KPIs, and performance metrics, translating complex financial information into actionable insight. Drive the digitisation of financial processes within the income division, championing automation, workflow improvements, and system optimisation. Maximise the use of Power BI and other analytical tools to enhance reporting, forecasting, and performance monitoring. Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long term financial planning processes for the income division. Produce high quality monthly reporting, variance analysis, and commentary for senior leadership and trustees. Provide scenario modelling, sensitivity analysis, and financial evaluations to support strategic decisions and business cases. Successful Candidate Profile:

It is essential you are a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ CIMA or CIPFA). Proven finance business partnering skills. Have proven experience of managing a team. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with various stakeholders. A proactive approach to problem solving and a positive, energetic attitude. Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Benefits :
