Role: Interim Senior Finance Business Partner

Location: South Yorkshire - Hybrid

Type: Temp - 4-6 months - Public Sector

Hours: Full Time

Salary: 350- 550 per day (inside IR35)

Sellick Partnership are seeking an Interim Senior Finance Business Partner for a public sector organisation based in South Yorkshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional to play a key role in providing strategic financial support and insight during a period of organisational change.

Key responsibilities:

Provide financial analysis and business partnering support to senior leaders across the organisationLead on management reporting, budgeting and forecasting for key directoratesSupport the development of financial strategies that align with organisational objectivesDeliver accurate and timely management information to support effective decision-makingLead the annual budget-setting process and ensure robust monitoring throughout the yearStrengthen financial controls and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirementsPromote continuous improvement across finance systems, processes, and reporting

Key skills:

Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)Strong experience in a Finance Business Partner or senior management accounting rolePrevious experience working within the public or not-for-profit sectorProven track record of providing financial advice and challenging senior stakeholdersSkilled in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reportingExcellent communication and influencing skillsAble to work autonomously and deliver results in a fast-paced environmentPlease apply if you believe that you are well-suited to this excellent opportunity.
