Job Title: Semi Senior Accountant

Location: Blythe Bridge, Stoke-on-Trent (Hybrid - 1 day in office, 2 from home)

Pay Rate: up to GBP35,000 FTE

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: Part-time, 3 days a week (flexible, term-time only available)

At Hunters 4 Staff, we're working with a growing business in Blythe Bridge that's looking for a Semi Senior Accountant to join their small, friendly team. This is a part-time, hybrid role with the potential to grow into full-time if desired. Ideal for someone returning to work or looking for a role that fits around family life.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare bookkeeping, management accounts, payroll, tax returns, year-end financials, budgets, and cashflows Review and supervise the work of trainee staff Report directly to the company director Dive into the detail, not just doing the books, but understanding the business behind them Support a consultative, client-focused approach What We're Looking For:

AAT or ACA qualified at least 2 years of recent experience in an accountancy practice is essential Strong working knowledge of Xero (must be confident using it independently) Solid bookkeeping skills and the ability to analyse financial data in context Benefits:
