Project Manager Central Southampton

A leading company in the professional services sector is currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join the team due to a phase of strategic transformation.

The project manager will be central to ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and to highest quality standards.

What you will be involved in;

Develop and maintain project plans, schedules and budgets Manage resources, timelines and deliverables to ensure projects meet agreed objectives Apply Prince2 (or equivalent) methodology and tailor appropriately for projects Ensure adherence to project governance framework Identify and engage stakeholders and prepare and present progress reports internally Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation strategies Lead cross functional project teams Capture lessons learned and contribute to improving project management practices What they are looking for;

Proven track record of managing projects in a professional services environment Strong understanding of project governance, risk management and stakeholder engagement Excellent communication and organisational skills Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously Prince 2 certification or equivalent (e.g APM, PMQ, PMP)

They offer salary circa 40,000 - 48,000 plus, 25 days holiday (increases with service) and option to buy holiday, Pension, Free parking, working hours 35 per week with flexibility.
