About the Role:

We are looking for an organised, proactive and customer–focused People Services Coordinator to join our HR team in Gloucester. This is a varied role where you'll support employees throughout their journey with the business, from joining and contractual changes through to payroll, benefits, family

leave and leaving processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate HR data to support payroll processing, ensuring all employee changes are submitted within required timelines.

Liaise with payroll providers and internal stakeholders to resolve routine payroll queries.

Administer employee benefits, including enrolment, amendments and leaver processes, ensuring data accuracy across systems.

Coordinate the PEGI share scheme process, including reporting, payroll deductions, stakeholder liaison and campaign administration.

Produce payroll–related reports and support audit and reconciliation activities.

Support annual salary review, profit share and bonus administration.

Provide administrative support for employee relations processes, including meeting coordination, documentation and note–taking.

Support HR colleagues and managers by coordinating activities and ensuring adherence to agreed processes.

Escalate complex or sensitive matters to the appropriate HR specialist.

Build effective relationships with employees, managers and stakeholders.

Support onboarding activities, including HR induction delivery.

Deliver administrative support across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contractual changes and offboarding.

Generate and issue employment–related documentation in line with company policies.

Administer family–friendly, statutory leave and holiday monitoring processes, escalating concerns where appropriate.

Maintain accurate employee data within HR systems.

Coordinate contractor administration activities.

Perform absence data validation checks and resolve discrepancies with managers.

Identify and escalate sponsored worker cases requiring updates through immigration processes.

Identify and recommend improvements to HR processes, systems and documentation.

Support process improvement and digitalisation initiatives.

Maintain HR templates, guidance materials and knowledge resources.

Share insights from recurring queries or issues to improve service delivery.

Process invoices, monitor purchase orders and maintain accurate records.

Liaise with external providers to support HR services.

What You'll Bring:

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Confidence using HR systems, data and Microsoft 365 applications.

Good Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables and formulas.

A professional, approachable and customer–focused manner.

The ability to work independently, take ownership and escalate issues when appropriate.

A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

A sound understanding of UK employment legislation relevant to HR administration.

Experience of advanced Excel, HR compliance activities or working within an international organisation would be advantageous.
